Banana cake

This post i about banana cake in two different versions. Who can resist the smell of banana cake? not me, at least!hehe..


Banana Cake with chocolate/black bottom topped with chocolate chips.


Ingredients needed:
chocolate chips (desired portion)
cocoa powder (2 tbsp)
banana, mashed (2 large/3 medium/4 small)
vegetable oil (100g)
cake flour (120g)
baking powder (1 tbsp)
baking soda (1/2 tbsp)
eggs (3)
sugar (100g) *I reduce to 60g.

Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking pan with parchment paper. Grease well before putting in the parchment paper.
2. Mix the cake flour, baking soda and baking powder and sift the flour mixture. Put it aside. Sift the cocoa powder in another bowl.
3. Beat the eggs and sugar till slightly pale.
4. Mix the mashed banana and beat with mixer till it's fluffy and pale and frothy.
5. Then, add flour mixture into step 3 and fold it.
6. Take half of the batter out into another bowl. Use the remaining half bowl of batter to add in 50g of oil.
7. In the other batter, mix in the cocoa powder, and then follow with the remaining oil.
8. Pour the chocolate layer into the bottom of the pan. Then pour the original batter into the pan on top of the chocolate layer. Then top with chocolate chips.
9. Put in the oven for 40-45 minutes or till toothpicks inserted comes out clean. Rest in the pan till cool.
